Terms of Service
The plain-language rules for working together on your custom print.
Last updated: October 26, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply when you use mymagicdesigns.com or order from My M.D. LLC (“My Magic Designs,” “we,” “us”). By submitting a request, approving a design, or paying an invoice, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
1. How custom orders work
- Request. Submitting our order form is a request for a quote. It isn’t a purchase and doesn’t obligate you to buy anything.
- Quote and mockup. We email you a quote and a design mockup (a 3D render or preview). Up to 5 rounds of changes are included. If you’d like more after that, we’ll tell you about any extra fee before we make them. If you ask for major changes, your quote may change.
- Approval. When you approve your design, we schedule it for printing. Quotes are valid for 30 days.
- Production, payment, and shipping. We print and finish your piece. When it’s done, we email you photos and a Stripe invoice, and we ship your order with tracking as soon as the invoice is paid.
We may decline any request for any reason, including if it isn’t technically possible to print or if it may infringe someone else’s rights.
2. Pricing, payment, and taxes
Every order is quoted individually based on size, detail, material, finish, quantity, and design work. Custom orders start at $100, before shipping and tax. Prices are in U.S. dollars. Payment is made by credit or debit card through a secure Stripe invoice. California sales tax is added where required. Your selected shipping cost is included on your invoice.
3. Approving your design
Please review your mockup carefully, including spelling, names, dates, size, and colors. By approving it, you confirm the design is correct. A mockup is a digital preview: the finished piece will closely match it, but small differences in color, texture, and finish are normal. Changes requested after approval may require a new quote and timeline, and changes after printing begins may not be possible.
4. Timelines
Production typically takes 3 to 4 weeks after you approve your design, followed by payment and shipping. These are estimates, not guarantees. We’ll keep you updated if anything changes, but we aren’t responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or events outside our control.
5. Your content and intellectual property
When you send us ideas, images, logos, or 3D files, you confirm that they’re original, that you own them, or that you have permission to have them printed. We don’t print trademarked or copyrighted characters, logos, or brands that you don’t own. You agree to be responsible for any claims that arise from content you provide, and to reimburse us for any costs those claims cause us.
You keep the rights to the ideas, images, and files you send us. We sell finished printed pieces, not design files. The 3D design files and mockups we create stay with us, and we don’t provide or sell them. We keep them so we can reprint your piece if you ever need another one, and we won’t print your custom design for anyone else. If an order is canceled or its invoice isn’t paid, the design and any printed piece stay with us. With your permission, we may photograph finished pieces for our gallery or social media.
6. Shipping, address accuracy, and risk
We ship within the United States using the method you select. Please double-check your shipping address. If a package is returned or lost because of an incorrect or incomplete address, reshipping costs are your responsibility. See our Shipping & Returns page for details.
7. Final sale, damage, and defects
Every item is custom made to order and is final sale. We don’t accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or noticeably different from the design you approved, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos, and we’ll reprint it at no charge or refund it if a reprint isn’t possible. 3D printed items can show small layer lines and minor variations; these are normal and not defects.
8. Using our products
Our prints are made for decorative and general use. Unless we’ve specifically agreed otherwise in writing, they aren’t certified as food-safe or as children’s toys, and they aren’t meant for safety-critical, load-bearing, or medical uses, or for car parts that affect how a vehicle drives, steers, or brakes. Functional parts are printed to the specifications you provide, and you’re responsible for deciding whether a part is suitable for your use.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total responsibility for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We aren’t responsible for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that can’t be limited under applicable law.
10. Website content
The text, graphics, logo, and images on this website belong to My M.D. LLC or are used with permission. Please don’t copy or reuse them without asking.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted when you approve your design applies to that order.
